From the beginning
Sunflower Farm was meant as a place for people to
gather—adults, kids, all of us. So, welcome! We hope this
website will peek your curiosity enough for you to find an excuse to
visit. It is our desire to give you a sense of rural lifestyle. True
rural lifestyle, not commercial or contrived. We are literally
inviting you into our backyard, where you will probably find towels
blowing on the clothesline, warm from the sun. Chickens run loose,
burrowing in the cozy dirt. Perhaps a baby bird has fallen from the
nest and is waiting to be rescued. There’s even an outdoor
bathtub—somewhat plumbed. We’re inviting you to our home,
where nothing is staged and you can wander at your leisure and enjoy
this lifestyle that, we, as a family have come to love.
Kid’ Farmfest is open to the public every Saturday (May through November) and Sunday (Sept. and Oct. only) 10-3. You do not need a reservation for this event.
