Now, Monday through Friday Sunflower Farm is offering a morning and afternoon drop-off program for 2-5 year olds. Having your child come to the farm regularly, whether you choose one day of the week, three days or all five, allows them to get to know the seasons of the farm and animals better. This agricultural-educational-based program is Kid's Farmfest on a small scale. Each day at the SproutHouse a small group of children gather in a class-like environment. Every day is an adventure, designed to inspire wonder and growth and give your young child a sense of rural lifestyle. Even on cold days we will bundle up, climb in the wagon and tour the farm, feed animals, build snowmen, collect eggs, climb the giant treehouse, catch toads, follow bugs, or play together at the SproutHouse. Outdoor activities as well as indoor activities such as art projects, cooking, music, games and stories are all part of this program. Wednesday is reserved strictly for 2-yr olds. Classes are broken into quarter sessions:
FALL 2008, Sept, Oct and Nov.
WINTER 2008/2009, Dec. Jan and Feb.
SPRING 2009, March, April and May
